One of the few things I remember from college was a remark made by a tutor that wasn’t even part of a lesson. He advised us to never have a bad word to say about anyone, to get a reputation for that with people, and to walk as if we owned the world.

Assalamu Alaykum! found my way here via the comment you left and i will be putting the blog into my bloglines reads. thanks for sharing the wisdom of your teacher. now that i think of it, i think some of the best lessons i learned from teachers in school had less to with the 3 “r”s and more to do with life itself.
